Yes, I know I was supposed to fly all the way to Charleston today, but things never go as the should.
I drove myself to the airport, and my Dad drove my car back home.
The flight from Tel Aviv to Rome was OK until the last 20 minutes. The pilot came on the PA system and told us that Rome airport is fogged in and we might be diverted to Ciampino airport, which eventually happened. We sat in the plane for about half an hour until they decided what would happen.
Eventually, the decided to take to the Rome airport by bus. We got off the plane, waited for our bags, which took a long time, and got on buses to the Rome airport. Once there, I was transferred to another flight to New York. The flight left on time, and got into JFK at 6:30 pm.
I missed my connection to Charleston, and had to bye a new ticket, and get a room for the night.
I am now at the hotel, hoping to get a good night's sleep, and have a good flight to Charleston tomorrow.
